Sir Ivar Iain Colquhoun of Luss,
8th Bt. was educated at
Eton
College, Eton, Berkshire, England.1 He
fought in the Second World War.1 He gained
the rank of Captain in 1945 in the service of the
Grenadier Guards.1 He held the position of
Chief of Clan Colquhoun in 1948.1 He
succeeded to the title of 8th Baronet Colquhoun, of
Luss [G.B., 1786]
on 12 November 1948.4 He held the office of
Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Dunbartonshire in 1951.1
He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of
Dunbartonshire in 1952.1 He lived in 2003 at
